Dr. Schiltz and her associates specialize in the neuropsychological assessment of children and adults, providing both clinical and forensic evaluations. We have designed this website to help our prospective patients and referring professionals obtain an overview of the services provided by our office, to answer some questions about the assessment process,and to help individuals get in touch with us. What Does An Assessment Provide? The neuropsychological assessment measures overall functioning levels. The comprehensive and detailed report serves manifold purposes including: Medical diagnoses Delineates and specifies what type of interventions are needed for maximum remediation efficiency Specifies services and documents rationale for school-based accomodations so that a student can receive appropriate and reasonable accomodations in the classroom setting Provides an empirical, scientifically based "roadmap" for a treatment team so the team can be aligned on what is needed Intervention specialists will be able to maximize their intervention/treatment and be efficient in planning and executing their treatment strategies.
